Sean Long Named Art in the Park Featured Artist for 2013
Sean Long, Revolver Studios, has been chosen as the 2013 Featured Artist for Kennedale Art in the Park. Sean specializes in HDR (high dynamic range) photography. This technique allows for a wider and deeper range of colors and detail than the standard photograph. HDR photos are made from merging multiple exposures of a single image. Sean enjoys highlighting the natural color and beauty of an image using the HDR technique.
Sean is married and has lived in the DFW Metroplex for 15 years, currently residing in Fort Worth. His professional photography career started with capturing the local landmarks and landscapes. His photography skills are self-taught and continue to develop. Sean has home printing studio with an Epson Stylus Pro 7900 and prints on both canvas and professional photography paper.
Dear Art Festival Applicant:
The Arti in the Park Committee and the City of Kennedale invite you to apply to participate in the Fourth Annual Art in the Park Arts Festival to be held April 5 – 7, 2013
Please follow application instructions carefully and note that the deadline for submitting the application for Art in the Park is March 8, 2013. Space is limited for this festival. All applicants will be notified by letter or email of acceptance or non-acceptance
Checklist
The following items must be completed and enclosed for the application to be considered
- Application Fee
- Notarized Vendor Waiver
- Copy of Texas Sales Tax and Use Permit
- A minimum of (3) photos or digital images of your products and booth you intend to use, and your overall display. Color copies are acceptable.
- Food Vendors will need to submit a temporary food permit (must apply for permit 2 weeks prior to the festival)
Incomplete forms will not be accepted. Photos of accepted applicant’s products become the property of Kennedale Art in the Park Committee. Submission of application does not guarantee acceptance of placement. Festival officials reserve the right to select or reject vendors. Art in the Park is an outdoor even and there are no refunds for inclement weather.
On-Site Information
Artist must be present during the entire event and must personally staff their exhibit space. No commission on sales will be charged.
Fees:
Application Fee: A $20 Non-refundable check or money order care of: Kennedale Arts & Culture Foundation.
Standard Space Fee: $100 vendors must provide their own 10’ x 10’ tent, supplies and lighting. All sales and display items must be contained within booth area.
Premium Space Fee: $120 vendors must provide their own 10’ x 10’ tent, supplies and lighting. All sales and display items must be contained within booth area. (Food Vendor Booths are include here)
Business Booth Fee: #300 vendors must provide their own 10’ x 10’ tent, supplies and lighting. Concrete tie-off anchors will be provided at no charge to Business Area tents only.
Late Fee: A $20 Late Fee will apply to all vendors whose application and all associated fees are not received by March 8, 2013, which is the deadline for all fees to be paid in full.
Returned Check Fee: A $30 returned check fee will be applied to all returned checks.
Cancellation: A $25 cancellation fee. All cancellations must be in writing and mailed to:

*Premium Booths Spaces are located on the corners and along our center isle. In the event a premium booth space is requested but not available, the additional fee will be refunded to applicant. All fees will be refunded should there be a rejection of application
