Art in the Park is a family event and we want to offer something to the members of all our guest’s families. Our Childrens’s Area helps us to make this a memorable event even for our younger guests. With childrens vendors, art activities and more we know the little ones are sure to have a good time!
The Kennedale Youth Advisary Council “YAC” is a group of KISD high school student leaders. The Art in the Park Committee is partnering with and mentoring the YAC as these young leaders plan, schedule and staff various Children’s Area activites and enterainment.
Not only is the YAC organizing the Children’s Area they too are vendors at the festival. They are providing and staffing two bounce houses to operate during the festival. All proceeds from the bounce houses go towards funding for the YAC. A schedule of when the bounce houses will be operational will be posted as we move closer to the festival.
