The Course
The 5K Race is an out and back course. It will start at behind the Town Center on North Bowman Springs Road and go South. From here you turn West on 3rd St, South onto N. Main St, East onto W. 4th Street, South on Kenney St and onto W. Broadway St. until it merges right on North Road. The course continues on North Road until turn around point, then returns to Bowman Springs along the same route. Our course route was certified in the summer of 2011.
Our Fun Run is also an out and back course that starts at the same location as the 5K Race. It will start after the racers leave so as to not have the two groups interfere with one another. The turn around point is located at Kenney St and W. 5th St.
Parking
Parking is available across Kennedale Town Center in the parking lot infront of Surplus Harware and Dollar General. Early arrival at the race site is encouraged to avoid congestion.
Registration & Packet Pick-up
3 pm - 8 pm Thursday March 22 and 3 pm - 8pm Friday March 23 at the Texas Race Depot. Packets will be available at this time for those entrants who registered onlnie.
Online race registration ends 11:59 pm Wednesday March 21, 2012. This allows time for race bibs to be labled with each early registrants' information and available by packet pick-up Friday by 3 pm.
Race Day Registration will close (20) twenty minutes before the race start (7:10 am). Payment for Race Day registration will be cash or credit card (Visa, Master Card, American Express or Discover) only.
